Executive Director

Michael S. Tree is the Executive Director of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority. Prior to joining LAVTA in 2014, he acquired over 20 years of experience in senior positions within the public sector, including most recently as General Manager for the Missoula Urban Transportation District in Montana. He also served as City Manager for the City of Twentynine Palms, California and as General Manager for Sierra Management, operator of the public transit system in Porterville, California. Michael has a Master of Science in Transportation Management from San Jose State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.

Bev Adamo

Bev Adamo

Director of Administrative Services

Beverly Adamo is the Director of Administrative Services at the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, where she oversees the finance, grants, human resources, risk management, facility management, procurement, contract management and administrative policies for the Wheels bus system. Prior to joining LAVTA in 2005, she was an executive in the IT industry in Silicon Valley. Bev has a Masters degree in Administration and Organizational Management from University of Phoenix and Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.

Christy Wegener

Director of Planning and Communications

Christy Wegener is the Director of Planning and Communications at the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, where she oversees the planning, scheduling, marketing, outreach, paratransit and vehicle technology/Intelligent Transportation Systems for the Wheels bus system. Prior to joining LAVTA in 2014, she worked for 7 years in Fairfax County, Virginia, as the manager of Planning and Operations for the Fairfax Connector Bus System. She began her transit career in 2003 as a graduate student intern and assistant planner for the Sacramento Regional Transit District. Christy has a master’s in Public Policy and Administration from CSU Sacramento and bachelor’s in Psychology/Sociology from UC Davis, and is a graduate of Leadership APTA class of 2011.
