All About Us
Facts and Figures | History | Our Services

Wheels is a service of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), which provides local public transit service to the cities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton and to the adjacent unincorporated areas of Alameda County.  The service area is approximately 40 square miles and is home to almost 171,652 residents.  The service area is divided into two sub-areas:  Livermore and Pleasanton/Dublin.  These 2 sub-areas are separated by three miles of lightly developed industrial and agriculture land.

The Tri-Valley Area is mostly flat, with some rolling hills in the eastern and northern parts of the valley.  The weather of the Tri-Valley is generally mild, with moderate rainfall in the winter and warm temperatures during the Summer months.  All Wheels Coaches are equipped with tinted windows and air conditioning for the passenger's comfort.
