AGENDA

  1. Call to Order.


  2. Meeting Open to Public:

    • Members of the audience may address the Board of Directors on any matter within the general subject matter jurisdiction of the LAVTA Board of Directors.
    • Members of the audience may address the Board of Directors on items on the Agenda at the time the Chair calls for the particular Agenda item.
    • Public comments should not exceed three (3) minutes.
    • Items are placed on the Agenda by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Manager, or by any three members of the Board of Directors.  Agendas are published 72 hours prior to the meeting.
    • No action may be taken on matters raised that are not on the Agenda.


  3. Minutes of the May 19, 2008 Meeting of the Committee.

    Recommendation:  Approval


  4. Presentation of Draft (Revised) Rapid Bus Operations and Capital Plan.

    Recommendation:  Receive draft Rapid Bus Operations and Capital Plan, featuring new Dublin Alignment for western portion of Rapid Bus Project. Provide comments for inclusion into the Final Plan.


  5. Improving Access to Livermore Civic Center on Route 14.

    Recommendation:
      Information Only. Provide direction as to whether this project is a good use of MTC Lifeline funding. A call for projects is anticipated soon from MTC for the next round of Lifeline Projects.


  6. Update on Requested Route 15 Service to Hindu Temple.

    Recommendation:
      Information Only. The OPS committee will be updated on the progress of this project in the coming months.


  7. Contracting out ADA Paratransit Eligibility Determination Process.

    Recommendation:
      Approve the submission of RFP to contract out LAVTA’s ADA paratransit eligibility determination process.


  8. Matters Initiated by Committee Members.


  9. Set date for Next Meeting.


  10. Adjournment.
