Catch Wheels to the Alameda County Fair -
Save money. Avoid traffic. Have fun!
It's Fair time again and let WHEELS take you to the Alameda County Fair the easy way!
Fairgoers gearing up for their yearly dose of carnival rides,
games and food can save money and avoid traffic snarls by taking Wheels Route 10 to the
Alameda County Fair foom Wednesday, July 1 through Sunday, July 19, 2008. The Fairgrounds are closed on Mondays.
Fairgoers coming in on BART can board a regularly-scheduled Route 10 bus on the Pleasanton
side of the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station which provides convenient and frequent service to
Downtown Pleasanton. Exit the bus at the corner of Peters/Rose Avenue and follow the signs
to the Fair’s East Gate entrance on Pleasanton Avenue, approximately 2 blocks west from the
bus stop. See walking map below.

Livermore residents can also leave their cars at home and catch the bus to go to the fair.
Fairgoers can board any Route 10 bus along Railroad Avenue and Stanley Boulevard or board
at the Wheels Transit Center located at 2500 Railroad Avenue in Downtown Livermore. Ample
free parking is available at the Livermore Valley Center Parking Garage adjacent to the Transit
Center. Wheels buses are wheelchair accessible.
For service to the fair, the regular adult/student cash fare is $2.00 per one-way trip. Children under 6 years
of age ride free with a paying adult. The fare is just $1.00 for Seniors (age 65 and over) and passengers with disabilities (with a valid RTC Discount card). BART Plus or WHEELS Business Club passes also accepted.
