Wheels Dial A Ride Scholarship
Frederick Medina Memorial Fare Fund
In 2004 a scholarship fund was established through gifts from community groups and individuals to assist Dial A Ride passengers in the purchase of tickets for rides on the Wheels Dial A Ride paratransit service. Now, thanks to a grant from the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA), based on Measure B half-cent sales tax, the scholarship has additional funds to make this program available to our Dial A Ride passengers.
If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please read the instructions below and complete the application form. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact our Customer Service Center at (925) 455-7500.
