How to Use Wheels to Get to the Fair

Within the Tri-Valley:

Livermore residents who live along the Route 10, can board at any of the many bus stops along East Avenue, Railroad Avenue, Stanley Boulevard, and off-board at First & Neal Streets. Riders will need to walk approximately three blocks to the fairgrounds or transfer to the Route 8A at First & Neal Streets for direct fair access.

Other Livermore residents may park at the Downtown Municipal Garage (3 floor) and board Route 10 at the Livermore Transit Center. The Rapid stop is located on Railroad Avenue just outside of the Transit Center in front of the Downtown Municipal Garage. *Please note: the Rapid operates Monday-Friday only. Take the Rapid to East Dublin/Pleasanton BART and transfer to the Route 8 on the Pleasanton side of the station for direct fair access.

Dublin residents may park at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and board Route 8 on the Pleasanton side to the Fair.

From East Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station:

Direct Access to the Fair Entrance on Route 8 can be accessed on the Pleasanton side of the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and off-boarding at Pleasanton Avenue located in front of the Alameda County Fairgrounds. For the fastest ride, take Route 8B to the Fair. Take Route 8A from the Fair to return to BART. In addition,  Wheels will be adding an extra bus on Route 8A/B in strategic locations, as needed, to support the operation of the regularly scheduled buses.

The service operates every 30 minutes, Monday-Friday and every hour on Saturday. Sunday service operates every 40 minutes.  Late night service runs until 10:05pm (last bus from Fair); except 4th of July when last bus after fireworks is at 10:48pm.

Route 10 Eastbound can be accessed on the Pleasanton side of the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and off-boarding at Peters Avenue at Division.  Riders will need to walk two blocks to the fairgrounds. The service operates every 30 minutes Monday –Friday, Saturday 20 minutes, and Sunday every 40 minutes.
