The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, operator of the Wheels bus system, is in the process of constructing new bus stops in preparation for its new bus rapid transit service (Rapid). The Rapid will improve transit operations, reduce congestion and improve consistency and quality of transit services in Livermore and Dublin.
Due to new bus stop construction, many bus stops in Livermore may be closed for over one month. Temporary stops will be placed if possible as detailed below. Temporary bus stops will be marked with a pink sign and street pavement marking that says “BUS STOP.”
