The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority seeks a Director of Planning and Operations to oversee the Authority’s operations planning, short and long range planning, contract management, reporting, capital planning and facilities. Additionally, this position oversees special projects, including the Authority’s demonstration project with Uber and Lyft, as well as its shared autonomous vehicle project with GoMentum and associated partners.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s/master’s degree(s) in Transportation Planning Business Administration, Urban Planning or related field. Five years responsible management experience in public transit preferable, with a minimum of three years planning experience.
