The Alameda County Fair is back this year from Friday October 22 through Sunday October 31.
There are several options for Wheels riders to get to this year’s fair:
- Route 8 operates between the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and downtown Pleasanton. The route runs every 30-60 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends and provides access to the western entrances to the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Valley Avenue. Click here to find the Route 8 schedule and map.
- Route 10R operates between the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and the downtown Livermore Transit Center via downtown Pleasanton. The route runs every 30-60 minutes seven days a week and provides access to the eastern entrance to the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Passengers should exit the bus on Peters Avenue in downtown Pleasanton. The fairgrounds entrance is about a 10 minute walk from there. Click here to find the Route 10R schedule and map.
- Go Tri-Valley is a Wheels program that pays half your fare (up to $5) for rideshare trips on Uber and Lyft that start and end in Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore. Click here for more information on Go Tri-Valley.
Route 52, the Wheels Fair Shuttle, will not operate during this year’s abbreviated fair. We apologize for any inconvenience.
