Dublin Unified School District – Temporary Service Adjustments

The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority has received notice from the Dublin Unified School District that a districtwide teachers strike is in effect as of Monday, March 9, 2026. All Dublin schools will be open and continue to receive Wheels supplementary bus services during the scheduled teacher strike. All bus operations will avoid crossing any picket lines.

The following routes and schools will have specific logistic and bus service restrictions. These locations have bus lines that will bypass on-campus stops and instead board and exit riders as follows.

Dublin High School
Affected Routes: 501, 502, 503, 504
Alternate Bus Stop Location: Northbound Village Parkway and Tamarack Drive
Afternoon departure will be delayed until 4:05 pm to accommodate student connections

Emerald High School
Affected Routes: 201
Alternate Bus Stop Location: Eastbound Central Parkway and Lockhart Street
Afternoon departure will be delayed until 3:45 pm to accommodate student connections

Wells Middle School
Affected Route: 503
Regular Bus Stop
Afternoon departure will be delayed until 12:45 pm to accommodate student connections

Fallon Middle School
Affected Route: 2
Alternate Temporary Bus Stop Location: Westbound Kohnen Way and Brannigan Street
Afternoon departure will be delayed until 12:45 pm to accommodate student connections

Morning arrivals may be delayed to strike activities impacting traffic. Wheels field transportation staff will be on location to assist rider needs on any of the affected bus lines.
