REMINDER – Face coverings are required while waiting at our bus stops in addition to while riding. Kudos to this gentleman for modeling proper behavior. As for any other fashion accessories, we won’t judge your choices. Just cover your mouth and nose and help us all stay safe. ... See MoreSee Less

Low income riders on the Wheels bus system will become eligible for discounted fares beginning Monday January 25. Wheels is participating in a pilot program called Clipper START!, which is administered by the Bay Area Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC). You can learn more about the program and apply online at clipperstartcard.com. The website will guide you through the application process and will even save your information if you need to return later to complete the application. Once approved, you will receive a personalized Clipper card that you will need to load with cash value before use.The Clipper START! discounts are automatically applied whenever the card is used. On Wheels buses, the discounted fare is $1.60 instead of the regular $2.00 one-way adult fare. Cards can only be obtained through the Clipper website and are not available at the Livermore Transit Center, the Wheels Administrative Office or at any of the other Tri-Valley retail locations where Clipper cards are available.Income guidelines for the program vary by household size. For example, for a family of four, the income limit for eligibility is $52,400. A full list of income eligibility amounts can be seen at clipperstartcard.com. ... See MoreSee Less
